Basketball Recap: South Rowan Raiders vs. Concord Spiders
South Rowan suffered their closest loss since February 6th on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Concord Spiders by a score of 41-38. The Raiders were probably out for revenge after losing 54-51 to them when the teams met back in February, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Defeat or not, South Rowan got some senior leadership from Kynlee Dextraze and Mckenzie Menius. Dextraze almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds, while Menius posted four points and four steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for Dextraze.
Concord got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alani Smith-Rogers out in front who went 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Nebrick, who had five points along with ten rebounds and seven blocks.
South Rowan dropped their record down to 3-3 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Concord, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6.
South Rowan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 36-33 defeat against Mount Pleasant on the 11th. As for Concord, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 60-34 loss against Forest Hills on the 11th.
