Basketball Recap: Cary Gets the Win

Middle Creek came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Cary, but Kyndall Brewington wouldn't allow it. The Cary Imps had just enough and edged the Middle Creek Mustangs out 45-43 thanks in part to Brewington, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine boards. She has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.

The win got Cary back to even at 6-6. As for Middle Creek, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-8.

Cary will venture away from home to take on Holly Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Middle Creek, they will host Apex at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
