The Manzanola Bobcats will look to defend their home court against the Deer Trail Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Manzanola is headed into the matchup out to prove that what happened against Primero last Saturday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Manzanola had to suffer through a 76-29 loss at the hands of Primero. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-14.

Meanwhile, Deer Trail was beaten by Elbert 67-24 on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 123rd).

Manzanola's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Deer Trail, their loss dropped their record down to 0-21.
