Baseball Recap: Pickens Comes Up Short

Pickens fell victim to Daniel and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 14-0 to the Lions. The defeat continues a trend for the Blue Flame in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost seven in a row.

Pickens' loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Daniel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-4.

Looking ahead, Daniel is taking a road trip to face off against Travelers Rest at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pickens will be paying especially close attention to the Lions' match: after the Lions faces off against the Devildogs, they'll take on Pickens again at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
