Basketball Recap: Tularosa Gets the Win

Tularosa won the last time they faced Rehoboth Christian and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tularosa Wildcats escaped with a win against the Rehoboth Christian Lynx by the margin of a single free throw, 52-51. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Lynx are ranked 85th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Tularosa's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Rehoboth Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-8.

Tularosa will square off against Hatch Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rehoboth Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bosque at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
