Preview: Boles Hornets vs. Cumby Trojans
Boles is 8-2 against the Trojans since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Boles Hornets will be playing at home against the Cumby Trojans at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Tuesday, Boles ended up a good deal behind the Eagles and lost 44-29.
Meanwhile, Cumby's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a rough 61-20 loss at the hands of Cooper. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cumby in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost eight in a row.
Boles has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record this season. As for Cumby, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-19.
Boles came up short against the Trojans in their previous matchup back in January, falling 57-50. Can Boles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
