Baseball Preview: Tindley Tigers vs. Irvington Preparatory Academy

The Tindley Tigers are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Irvington Preparatory Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Tindley not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 17, 2024 (when they won 15-5). They put the hurt on Indianapolis Washington with a sharp 15-5 win. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
