Volleyball Recap: Olympia Comes Up Short

Olympia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Eureka Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Gabby Dickhut paced Olympia's offense, picking up eight kills. Dickhut got some help from Kinley Steinkamp and her 14 assists.

Olympia now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Eureka, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season.

Olympia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Lena-Winslow on the 4th. As for Eureka, they have also already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Moline on the 4th.
