Softball Recap: Saguaro Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Saguaro's offense. They came up short against the Chaparral Firebirds on Friday, falling 10-0. The Sabercats have struggled against the Firebirds recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Saguaro's record is now 8-10. As for Chaparral, their record now sits at 10-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Saguaro will welcome Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Titans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Sabercats surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chaparral, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Desert Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the Firebirds' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
