Volleyball Recap: Bayfront Charter Comes Up Short

Bayfront Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Chula Vista Learning Community Charter Cobras. The Sharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cobras apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

Bayfront Charter actually scored more points across those five sets (97-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 8-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-10.

Bayfront Charter's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-8.

Bayfront Charter has already played their next matchup (against Gompers Prep Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chula Vista Learning Community Charter, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against San Diego Academy on the 22nd.
