Baseball Recap: Northwestern Lehigh Starts Season with Victory Against Blue Mountain

Northwestern Lehigh gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Blue Mountain Eagles by a score of 9-4. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The team relied heavily on Nolan Fitzgerald, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Devin Rex was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4.
