Basketball Recap: Union City Takes a Loss

After flying high against South Fulton last Thursday, Union City came back down to earth. The Union City Golden Tornadoes took a 51-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Henry County Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Tornadoes in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost three in a row.

Union City's loss dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Henry County, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Union City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Henry County, they will face off against Dickson County at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Dickson County will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Henry County surely won't give up without a fight.
