Football Game Preview: Washington & Lee vs. Rappahannock

Rappahannock will challenge Washington & Lee on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Rappahannock are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.

Rappahannock put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They made easy work of Lancaster and carried off a 62-28 victory. Rappahannock were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Meanwhile, the last time they encountered one another, Northumberland outplayed Washington & Lee 13-18. This time around? Get ready for this: Washington & Lee didn't finish too far behind, but the squad still lost 13-18 to Northumberland. If you felt some intense deja vu just there, it's no doubt because Washington & Lee and Northumberland finished with that exact same score the last time they met.
