Soccer Game Preview: Conant vs. Prospect

The Conant Cougars will take on the Prospect Knights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

After two halves, Conant and Rolling Meadows settled for a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, Prospect's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of Barrington by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Prospect can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 141st, while Barrington are ranked 14th).

Prospect has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-3 record this season. Conant's draw makes their record 6-7-2 this season.
