Basketball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

If Dora was riding high fresh off their 59-23 takedown of Floyd last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dora Coyotes fell 45-34 to the Melrose Buffaloes on Wednesday. The Coyotes haven't had much luck with the Buffaloes recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Dora now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Melrose, they pushed their record up to 23-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Dora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Melrose, they will host Elida at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Elida will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Melrose surely won't give up without a fight.
