Soccer Recap: Sheridan Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sheridan can now relate to. They came up short against the Covenant Christian Warriors on Monday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Sheridan can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while Covenant Christian are ranked eighth).

Sheridan has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Covenant Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 15-1-1 record this season.

Sheridan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Covenant Christian, they will square off against Bethesda Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
