Sidney posted their closest victory since October 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bridgeport Bulldogs, sneaking past 2-1. That's more bragging rights for the Red Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Sidney had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Their offense was headlined by Jordynn Schnell and Reagan Nesbitt, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Witte and her 19 assists. Kierra Schrader controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Sidney's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bridgeport, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Sidney wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Alliance on the 18th. As for Bridgeport, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chadron on the 16th.
