Soccer Recap: Widefield vs. Woodland Park
After flying high against Pueblo Central last Saturday, Widefield came back down to earth. The Widefield Gladiators came up short against the Woodland Park Panthers on Tuesday, falling 4-0.
Widefield's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Woodland Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-2.
Widefield will play host again on Thursday to welcome Sierra, where kickoff is scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Widefield is facing Sierra at the right time seeing as Sierra is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Woodland Park, they are taking a road trip to face off against The Vanguard School at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vanguard School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
