Basketball Recap: Lakeside Wins Going Away Against Vision

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Lakeside walked away with it. They enjoyed a cozy 61-42 win over Vision on Friday.

Vision's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Aubrie Parrish, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 rebounds, and Abby Porterfield, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 19 boards. Porterfield has become a key player for Vision: the team is 11-2 when she posts at least eight boards, but 5-6 otherwise. Angel Gutierrez was another key player, putting up eight points along with ten rebounds and four steals.

The victory got Lakeside back to even at 12-12. As for Vision, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 16-8.

As of now, neither Lakeside nor Vision have any future games scheduled.
