Football Game Preview: Miller Place Panthers vs. Babylon Panthers

Miller Place are taking a road trip to take on Babylon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Miller Place sitting on four straight wins and Babylon on seven.

On Friday, Miller Place didn't have too much trouble with Port Jefferson as they won 32-14. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Royals are ranked 390th).

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Babylon). They breezed past Shoreham-Wading River to the tune of 56-20 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Miller Place's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Babylon, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Miller Place against Babylon in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 43-14 win. Will Miller Place repeat their success, or does Babylon has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
