Baseball Recap: Horatio Comes Up Short

Horatio was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Prescott Curley Wolves. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 5-4 to the Curley Wolves when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Horatio's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Prescott, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Looking ahead, Horatio is taking a road trip to face off against Mountain Pine at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give Horatio their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Prescott, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Camden Fairview at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
