It was a proper cat-fight when McClave faced off against Cheyenne Wells on Tuesday. The Cardinals were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Cardinals have won six matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Drew Howe, who scored a run and stole four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Emmett Homm was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

McClave always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cheyenne Wells only posted an OBP of .423.

McClave's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Cheyenne Wells, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
