The Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils will face off against the Tyrone Golden Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bellwood-Antis is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.7 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Bellwood-Antis didn't have quite enough to beat Bald Eagle Area and fell 2-1. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellwood-Antis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Swogger, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Tyrone entered their tilt with Mount Union on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Trojans by a score of 8-3.

Eli Woomer looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Tyrone let A Walk and L Hamer run wild. Walk went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run, while Hamer went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that Hamer has hit this season. Another player making a difference was G Miller, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI and one run.

Tyrone was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The last time their batting average was this high was back in May of 2024.

Bellwood-Antis now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Tyrone, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
