Volleyball Recap: St. Stephens Indians vs. North Lincoln Knights
St. Stephens lost against North Lincoln back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Indians took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Knights.
St. Stephens started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-19, 25-14, 25-12.
Addison Smith paced St. Stephens' offense, picking up seven kills. Smith really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with ten. Kendall Mohl and Addison Granger kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
St. Stephens' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Lincoln, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
