After a string of five wins, Bryan Station's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 72-64 to the Frederick Douglass Broncos. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Sunday (62), the Defenders still had to take the loss.

Bryan Station's loss dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Frederick Douglass, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bryan Station will head out to square off against Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bryan Station knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Berea likes a good challenge. As for Frederick Douglass, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Tates Creek at 7:30 p.m. on January 10, 2025.
