Softball Recap: Freehold Boro Comes Up Short

Freehold Boro was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 20-3 to the Toms River South Indians. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Freehold Boro's defeat dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Toms River South, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Indians beat Freehold Boro by a score of 19-3 later that day.
