Carlson is 10-0 against Lincoln Park since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. The Carlson Marauders are taking a road trip to challenge the Lincoln Park Railsplitters at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Carlson is headed into Thursday's game hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 34-33 heartbreaker at the hands of Edsel Ford. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Marauders came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 439th).

Meanwhile, Lincoln Park came up short against Allen Park on Tuesday and fell 39-28. The Railsplitters haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team's come up short the last eight times they've met.

Lincoln Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Carlson, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.

Carlson beat Lincoln Park 41-32 in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carlson since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
