Basketball Game Preview: Kent Denver Sun Devils vs. Holy Family Tigers

The Kent Denver Sun Devils will venture away from home to square off against the Holy Family Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Kent Denver is leaving town to face Holy Family after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Sun Devils were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 60-59 to Timnath.

Despite the defeat, Kent Denver had strong showings from Austin Duncan, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten boards, and Emerson Hamman, who went 7-for-16 on her way to 21 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Duncan has been hot, having posted ten or more boards the last seven times she's played. London Barry was another key player, putting up seven points along with eight rebounds and five steals.

Meanwhile, Holy Family earned a 51-44 win over Colorado Academy on Friday.

Kent Denver couldn't quite get it done against Holy Family in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 59-47. Can the Sun Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
