Softball Recap: Narraguagus Knights vs. Calais Blue Devils

In what's become a running theme this season, Narraguagus gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They blew past the Calais Blue Devils 12-2. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Narraguagus considering their one-run performance the match before.

Autumn Peterson and Natalie Stanwood made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Peterson didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out 12 over five innings pitched. Meanwhile, Stanwood tossed an inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Peterson has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate, Peterson went 1-for-4 with four RBI, a run, and a double, while Stanwood got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, a triple, and a run.
