Basketball Recap: Washington Waldorf Takes a Loss

Washington Waldorf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Washington Latin Public Charter School Lions, falling 39-7. Washington Waldorf was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 23-3.

It was another big night for Victoria Guevara, who posted 27 points for Washington Latin Public Charter School. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Guevara has scored at least a third of Washington Latin Public Charter School's points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Schifferle, who earned eight points.

Washington Waldorf's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Washington Latin Public Charter School, their win bumped their record up to 6-16.

As of now, neither Washington Waldorf nor Washington Latin Public Charter School have any future games scheduled.
