Basketball Recap: Logan County's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

If Logan County was riding high fresh off their 71-42 takedown of Todd County Central last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Logan County Cougars fell to the Franklin-Simpson Wildcats 57-53. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 69-62 loss two weeks ago.

The defeat snapped Logan County's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 16-9 record. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.3 points over those games. As for Franklin-Simpson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-13.
