While Winner's victory against Chamberlain wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cubs 8-7. With that victory, the Warriors brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
