The Lewisburg Patriots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Southaven by a score of 73-63. The win was familiar territory for Lewisburg who now have six in a row.
Southaven lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Cael Jones, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds. Jones continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jhordan Shivers, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewisburg will take on Oxford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Mississippi (Oxford is ranked 48th, while Lewisburg is ranked 34th). As for Southaven, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hernando at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hernando knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Southaven likes a good challenge.
