Baseball Game Preview: Norwin Knights vs. Woodland Hills Wolverines

Norwin is on a three-game streak of home losses, and Woodland Hills a three-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Monday. The Norwin Knights will be playing at home against the Woodland Hills Wolverines at 4:00 p.m. Norwin will be strutting in after a win while Woodland Hills will be coming in after a defeat.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Norwin and Canon-McMillan meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Knights never let the Big Macs get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Woodland Hills' offense. They lost 17-0 to Canon-McMillan last Thursday.

Woodland Hills saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was DeVaughn Earl-Hayden, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Norwin's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Woodland Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
