Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson Forest). They breezed past the Glass Hilltoppers to the tune of 56-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won six contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jefferson Forest to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cam Foxx, who rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Xander Coleman was another key player, gaining 50 total yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Jefferson Forest was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 227 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Glass only rushed for 69.

Jefferson Forest pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 5.5 points on average over those games. As for Glass, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
