Volleyball Recap: Prospect Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Prospect, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Buffalo Grove Bison on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in April.

While Prospect won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-23.

Brendan Ziegenhorn paced Prospect's offense, picking up nine kills. Ziegenhorn got some help from Ryan Cook and his 23 assists. Cook was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Prospect pushed their record up to 25-7 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Buffalo Grove, they now have a losing record of 14-15.

Looking ahead, Prospect will host Maine West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buffalo Grove, they are taking a road trip to challenge Grayslake Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
