Football Recap: Regis Jesuit Comes Up Short at Home Against Cherry Creek + How To Watch

Regis Jesuit unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 45-10 loss at the hands of the Cherry Creek Bruins on Thursday. The Raiders have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Regis Jesuit didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Logan Singer and Sawyer Burruss. Burruss has been hot recently, having also posted six or more total tackles the last three times he's played. Regis Jesuit received some extra help from Burruss, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.

Jayden Fox was a one-man wrecking crew For Cherry Creek. as he rushed for 169 yards and three TDs on only six carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave Fox a new career-high. Alijah Landrum-Hamilton was in the mix too, providing Cherry Creek with one score.
