The Portage Northern Huskies took a 49-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Joseph Bears on Friday. The game marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Portage Northern's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-8. As for St. Joseph, their win ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-14.

Portage Northern has already played their next contest, a 59-42 loss against Norrix on the 17th. As for St. Joseph, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 48-40 defeat against Mattawan on the 17th.
