Providence Academy never let their opponents score on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks as they made off with a 13-0 win. Considering the Lions have won four contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Providence Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Minnehaha Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Academy will square off against Maranatha Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mustangs have averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Minnehaha Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Blake at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
