Volleyball Game Preview: West Hancock Eagles vs. Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears

West Hancock hasn't had much luck against Bishop Garrigan recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. West Hancock will be strutting in after a win while Bishop Garrigan will be coming in after a loss.

West Hancock will bounce into Tuesday's match after beating Belmond-Klemme, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Eagles had just enough and edged out the Broncos 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since October 12, 2024.

Meanwhile, Bishop Garrigan came up short against Forest City on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Golden Bears in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost seven in a row.

Bishop Garrigan's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for West Hancock, their win ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14.

West Hancock couldn't quite get it done against Bishop Garrigan when the teams last played on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
