Brayden Crawford put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Friday. He struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). He is becoming a predictor of Saugus's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 3-7 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Crawford and Saugus will be playing at home against Lynn Classical at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. The Rams will enter the matchup having just beaten Medford, so the Sachems will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
