Jeremiah Alford Dazzles in North Rowan Victory

Starting off the list is North Rowan's Jeremiah Alford, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Alford rushed for 100 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries, and also threw for 113 yards on nine of 15 attempts. Those 100 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Alford and North Rowan are taking a road trip to square off against Lexington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Alford up against the Yellowjackets' star quarterback Jaylen Henderson. Hank Webb's big game helped extend Salisbury's winning streak to seven on Friday. Webb turned in nothing short of a gem, throwing for 274 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in a rushing score. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played dating back to last season.

Salisbury pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Webb and Salisbury will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against North Rowan at 7:30 p.m. on November 1st.

East Davidson was led to victory by Foster Warren, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. With the victory, East Davidson broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6. Warren and East Davidson will host Thomasville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
