Big game from Horton as Mission Bay won 8-7
On Tuesday Evie Horton was dialed in and struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. She played a big game the last time she faced Madison, so the team probably should've seen her coming. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was her third in a row with less than two walks allowed. For the season, Horton has an ERA of 5.21 over 39 innings pitched.
Horton and Mission Bay will head out on the road to square off against Coronado at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
