Volleyball Recap: Agoura Comes Up Short

Agoura lost against Thousand Oaks back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Chargers fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 3-2. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Agoura took Thousand Oaks into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 22-25, 25-23, 25-22, 15-9.

Agoura's record now sits at 6-8. As for Thousand Oaks, their win bumped their record up to 17-12.

Agoura will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Calabasas at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Thousand Oaks, they will take on Newbury Park at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Lancers surely won't give up without a fight.
