Scotus suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Scotus Shamrocks vs. Malcolm Clippers
The Scotus Shamrocks's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 49-42 to Malcolm. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Scotus of the 73-54 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2023.
Malcolm got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carson Frank out in front who scored 26 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Maddox Meyer, who scored 15 points.
Scotus' loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Malcolm, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season.
Scotus will head out on the road to square off against the Cavaliers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Malcolm, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Chieftains on Saturday.
