Softball Recap: Pendleton Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pendleton can now relate to. They took a 12-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Henley Hornets on Tuesday. The Buckaroos were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in June of 2024.

Pendleton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Henley, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-10.

Pendleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Henley, they will challenge St. Helens on Friday. The Lions' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Hornets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
