Soccer Recap: Central Cabarrus Comes Up Short

Central Cabarrus came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Lake Norman Charter Knights, falling 6-0. Central Cabarrus have struggled against Lake Norman Charter recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Central Cabarrus' defeat dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Lake Norman Charter, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Central Cabarrus will take on West Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lake Norman Charter, they will be playing at home against East Rowan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lake Norman Charter are facing East Rowan at the right time seeing as East Rowan are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
