Basketball Game Preview: Concord Crimson Tide vs. Manchester Memorial Crusaders

Concord and Manchester Memorial are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2014, but not for long. The Concord Crimson Tide will venture away from home to face off against the Manchester Memorial Crusaders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Concord and 12 for Manchester Memorial dating back to last season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-27, which was the final score in Concord's tilt against Keene on Friday. The match marked the Crimson Tide's lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 67-14, which was the final score in Manchester Memorial's tilt against Bedford on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Bulldogs are ranked first).

Manchester Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Concord, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Concord was able to grind out a solid victory over Manchester Memorial in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 42-32. The rematch might be a little tougher for Concord since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
