The Baraboo Thunderbirds will head out on the road to challenge the Reedsburg Beavers at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Baraboo is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Baraboo fell victim to Stoughton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 7-0 to the Vikings. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Thunderbirds were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Reedsburg didn't have quite enough to beat Edgewood on Wednesday and fell 8-7. The Beavers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheyenne Raupp was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-3. Gracie Roloff also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Baraboo's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 5-3. As for Reedsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Baraboo couldn't quite finish off Reedsburg in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
