Rivercrest skates past Mena with ease

Recap: Rivercrest Colts vs. Mena Bearcats
With a playoff game on the line, the Rivercrest Colts rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 36-0 win over Mena. The victory was familiar territory for Rivercrest who now have eight in a row.
Koby Turner was his usual excellent self, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Turner really tore up the turf during one magnificent 88-yard run. The team also got some help courtesy of Cavonta Washington, who rushed for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Rivercrest has yet to lose a contest at home this season, leaving them with a 9-2 record. As for Mena, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Rivercrest will square off against Gravette at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Gravette is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Mena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
